What Are the Perks of Your RV Rental Consignment Program for RV Owners?

Our rental consignment program has a few specific perks for owners: The most obvious perk is that owners get to earn monthly passive income with their RVs. This is like owning an Airbnb and having a property management company take care of everything. The other perk is that Florida has a ton of rental demand, which means more money in your pocket as an owner. The other perk is full commercial insurance on each and every rental! Florida RV owners are earning $412-$642/week (on avg), all while retaining the flexibility to use their RVs whenever they wish, it's the best of all worlds. With Florida's constant influx of tourists, renting your RV is a lucrative opportunity, and RV Management USA will ensure you get the most out of your investment.

Can you legally rent your RV in Florida?

Yes, RV rentals are 100% legal in Florida and you can privately rent your RV out with no issues. That being said, you'll need to make sure your RV is inspected regularly and has commercial insurance coverage on each rental. Make sure your RV also has a clean title and having a copy of your maintenance records is also a bonus! If you don't want to worry about a thing while your RV is rented legally for you, reach out to RV Management USA today!

How much money can I make with RV rental management in Florida?

Florida is one of those states that offers RV owners a year round opportunity to rent their RVs and make rental profits. Although the market in Florida can seem saturated, with the right territory manager and location, your RV can earn you tens of thousands of dollars per year. For example, Class C motorhome owners in Florida are earning $1200-$2500 per month passively with RV Management USA.

How much money will I make and when do I get paid?

We don't like to overstate earning potential. Remember, if your RV isn't earning for you, then it isn't earning for us either. Our entire goal is to maximize profits and minimize risk on the RVs we manage. That being said, most RV owners in our program make between $500-$1500/month. Class A, B, and C motorhome owners can make on average $8K-$20K USD per year in their pocket depending on the location and type of RV. Earning potential depends on location and RV type. Owners are paid on a monthly basis and will get a full breakdown of all the rental details as part of an "Owner Statement" each month.

Will my RV be maintained properly?

Our territory managers work with professional on-site maintenance teams to make sure your RV is meticulously maintained throughout the year. Your RV will benefit form ongoing attention and basic maintenance like tire checks before and after each rental, roof and slide out checks once a month, ongoing appliance testing, routine oil changes, and more. We want your RV in top shape all the time so that it can continue to perform well and generate revenue. As an RV owner in our program, there are 3 main types of maintenance costs to consider:

1) Routine maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Owners are billed periodically for these expenses at discounted rates, and the deduction can often come directly from the rental profits in a given month.
2) Rental Damages: Any damage to an RV that happens on a rental will be covered fully by the renter's security deposit and/or the commercial insurance coverage. Our managers deal with all claims and repairs at no cost to the RV owner - renters pay the deductible and your personal insurance is not involved.
3) Systemic maintenance: Systemic issues are the responsibility of the RV owner. A/C failure, water pump failure, fridge or hot water tank failure, etc. These are costs that arise from no fault of the renter. Warranty protection plans usually cover these systemic repairs, and our managers work with the warranty company and RV techs to get these fixed. Our managers will work with you to get your RV back in top shape as quickly and professionally as possible.

What kind of RVs do you accept into your fleet?

We will consider any RV that is in great condition but we focus mostly on newer Class A, B, and C motorhomes and late model travel trailers with bunk beds. We also will consider fifth wheels and custom conversion campervans. Every RV must be 5 years or newer to qualify for rental management. Sometimes we make exceptions for very well maintained older units.

Can I use my RV if I want for my own RV adventures?

Of course you can! It's your RV after all. Whenever you want to use your rig you just let the manager know and if it's not booked for a rental we will reserve it for your own usage! Just remember to give us ample heads up and bring back the RV clean and ready to go for the next renter.

How long are the contracts?

Owners typically consign their RVs for 6 -12 months at a time, on average. Managers are flexible with the contracts and they work with all owners individually to establish contracts that make the most sense for everyone.
